We frequently have openings available in the following positions:

PORTFOLIO and CONDOMINIUM MANAGERS are the primary contacts with Boards of Directors, Homeowners, and private contractors serving the association. This active position includes inspecting the assigned communities on a regular basis, initiating correspondence, assigning work orders and monitoring work, solicitation of bids, processing design review requests, preparation for and attending board and annual meetings (usually in the evenings), preparation and presentation of all financials, working hand-in-hand with an assigned community manager and/or an administrative assistant.

INVESTMENT SERVICES/ APARTMENT MANAGERS oversee all of the operations of the apartment buildings within the BRIGS portfolio. This very busy position includes screening of prospective tenants including credit histories, ensuring that rent is paid in a timely manner, consistent inspection of properties and units, authorizing and overseeing preventative maintenance services, repairs and capital improvement projects, engaging attorneys and other professionals and dealing directly with Owners and Investors.

ACCOUNTANTS/BOOKKEEPERS provide full accounting services to a number of assigned associations and apartment buildings. This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, interaction with title and insurance companies and brokers, maintenance of checking/savings accounts, production of cash, accrual and modified-accrual financial reports on a monthly basis, follow up on delinquent accounts, collections and interaction with CPA’s during audits and reviews.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT and different types of clerical positions. Some are clerical, involving: filing, copying, and processing of mail/faxes in and out. Some are secretarial: receptionists, data entry, processing of mailings, and other related functions. All of which require a competent and cheerful attitude.

ON SITE COMMUNITY MANAGERS help to manage all of the elements pertaining to an association or an apartment building. This position is as diversified in duties as it is in location, placement ranges from the suburbs to Downtown. On Site Community Manager’s help to enforce rules and regulations, supervise maintenance activities, and also know and abide by all governing documents. This position has maintained office hours and also the requirement of accessibility, by cell phone, all days of the week.

SERVICE TECHNICIANS Provide preventative, routine, facilities and emergency maintenance services for Trustees, Owners and tenants of properties managed by BRIGS. Requires a working ability in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, plastering and painting. In addition to providing daily maintenance services, duties include being on call evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule, performing snow removal during regular and overtime hours, cleaning and painting. All applicants must have a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, tools, be able to work 40+ hours a week and be able to work nights and weekends.
