Meet Ann Dubin
Property Administrator
What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like?
I am a Property Administrator for several condominium associations within the BRIGS portfolio,
supporting the respective property managers. Internally, I collaborate with Client Services,
Accounting, Vendor Relations, and other departments. I also work closely with new vendors to
ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for setup in Vantaca, and I maintain ongoing
communication with our current vendors. No two days are ever the same, but my primary focus
is always on client satisfaction. Whether assisting a board member or a homeowner, my goal is
to answer questions and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
As simple as it may sound, the most rewarding part of my job is the JOB itself. I genuinely look forward to each day and the opportunities it brings. What I value most are the relationships I’ve built and maintained with clients and vendors over my 11½ years here (including my time with Sterling and BRIGS). Receiving positive feedback from those I work with truly makes my day—there’s nothing better than knowing I’ve contributed to a happy client experience.
What’s something you find challenging about your work?
With so many tasks happening at once, it’s essential to stay focused and prioritize effectively. While multi-tasking is one of my strengths, I recognize that taking on too much at once can sometimes feel overwhelming and may lead to mistakes. I’m always working to balance my workload to ensure I continue providing the best possible service.
What are some hobbies you enjoy?
Reading, playing online Scrabble (keeps the brain sharp), baking, and listening to many genres of music. While not a hobby, I can get deeply involved in a TV mini series where I may over-binge—Gilded Age, Virgin River, The Pitt, The Morning Show, Call The Midwife, and Suits to name a few.
Tell us about your ideal weekend plan.
Sitting by the pool or at the beach with friends/family or relaxing at home after a busy work week.
What is your favorite movie?
I will date myself here, but my favorite movie of all time is Funny Girl as Barbra Streisand is my favorite actress. I have seen it over 20 times and can probably recite the entire dialogue and sing every song. You would not want to hear my voice, so I will stick to my day job.
Coffee or tea?
Coffee (iced or hot) with some flavored syrup for an extra zing.
Any favorite summer memories?
Spending time with friends, family, and children—made extra special with a visit home from my son who lives in San Diego.
What's your favorite summer treat?
Ice cream in any form.
