Meet Ana Toledo

Senior Client Services / Client Services Training Instructor

What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like? I am a Client Services Rep & Training Instructor here at BRIGS. My day-to-day activities are assisting homeowners with general inquiries, issues, and submitting requests, all focused on delivering efficient and excellent customer service. Additionally, I assist property managers with emergent situations and back office duties.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?  The most rewarding part of my job is helping homeowners and creating rapport with our callers.

What’s something you find challenging about your work?
De-escalations can be quite challenging. I speak to upset homeowners every day, and changing the caller’s negative perspective can certainly be a challenge.

What are some hobbies you enjoy?   Some hobbies I enjoy and practice weekly are sculpting and swimming. Sculpting is how I express my creativity, and swimming helps me stay in shape.

Tell us about your ideal weekend plan.  My ideal weekend consists of swimming at the local lake followed by a late evening barbeque with my kids.

What is your favorite movie? I have several favorites, but my top three are Dumb and Dumber, Norbit, and The Color Purple. Comedy and some heartfelt drama!

Coffee or tea? Coffee!!

Do you have any summer travel plans? I don’t tend to travel for the summer, but I do like to plan a special outing with my kids. I have a 15 and 16 year old, and this year we will visit Six Flags—I enjoy roller coasters and thrilling rides. I’m a very energetic and active mom.

Any favorite summer memories? My favorite summer memory is of one of my children’s 10th birthday celebrations. I organized a camping trip and invited my neighbors/friends, whose kids are the same age as mine. It was a group of three single moms and a total of eight kids in total!

We rented a cabin in front of the lake with direct private access to the lake where we barbecued and rented a boat and ski gear. Everyone had a chance to hop on the skis or try bodyboarding, and we cruised around the lake. Some of us flew right off the body board; others turned out to be really good skiers. The kids had a blast, and I know we made great memories that day!

What's your favorite summer treat?  I have a few! Ice cream (vanilla and anything with berries) and scones are great for dessert, and iced coffee and smoothies are a perfect treat at work. Iced coffee is a delight with a splash of creamer, and I make my own smoothies—a mix of frozen fruit, plant based milk, a sprinkle of sweetener, and “voila!”
